CrowdStrike Detects Advanced Adversary Attack in Real-World Simulation at Unprecedented Speed

Exclusive Findings from the 2024 Global Threat Report

Unveiling the Threat Landscape and CrowdStrike's Superior Detection Capabilities

In a groundbreaking demonstration of its advanced detection capabilities, CrowdStrike has successfully detected an advanced adversary attack in a real-world closed-book simulation in just four minutes – a remarkable six to 11 times faster than competitive vendors. This unprecedented speed and accuracy highlight CrowdStrike's unparalleled ability to protect organizations from the most sophisticated cyber threats.

The findings are part of the recently released CrowdStrike 2024 Global Threat Report, which offers a comprehensive analysis of the evolving cyber threat landscape. The report reveals an alarming trend: in 75% of cyberattacks detected in 2023, adversaries gained initial access through vulnerabilities in operating systems and applications.

In a separate incident, a massive Windows 10 Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) outage has been linked to a CrowdStrike update. Users are advised to access Safe Mode to resolve the issue. Additionally, Microsoft has temporarily paused deployment of the CrowdStrike update for Windows 10 21H2 and Windows Server 2022.
