The exit poll for the 2024 UK general election predicts a Conservative Party majority, with the party expected to win 342 seats in the House of Commons.
While the Conservatives are forecast to lose ground compared to the 2019 election, they will retain a comfortable majority. The Labour Party is predicted to win 267 seats, a gain of 23 from the previous election.
The Liberal Democrats, Britain's traditional third party, are also enjoying a significant resurgence, with the exit poll predicting they will win 105 seats, up from just 11 in 2019. This would be the party's best result since 2005.
