Hugh Jackman Stars in The Music Man Revival on Broadway

Premiere Date Announced

The long-awaited Broadway revival of Meredith Willson's classic musical, "The Music Man," has announced its premiere date and full cast. Tony Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman will lead the ensemble in the iconic role of Professor Harold Hill, the charismatic con man who swindles an entire Midwestern town into believing he can start a boys' band.

Sutton Foster Joins as Marian

Joining Jackman as Marian Paroo, the town's uptight librarian who falls for Hill's charms, is Tony Award-winner Sutton Foster. The production will also feature Emmy Award-winner Jefferson Mays as the mayor and Tony Award-nominee Jayne Houdyshell as the town's mayor's wife.

Premiere in October

The Music Man will begin performances at the Winter Garden Theatre on September 9, 2022, with an official opening night on October 24, 2022. Tickets are now on sale to the public.
